The building is situated 500 metres from Margaret Bridge, in the centre of the city, at the Danube bank.
This means that the guests of Hotel Császár can reach Margaret Island in ten minutes on foot.
The hotel can be reached from downtown very conveniently day and night by means of public transportation.

The building was erected in the 1850s, and initially functioned as a nunnery. The atmosphere of the rooms is pleasant and modern, yet they are reminiscent of the origins of the building. Hotel not accessible for disabled people and wheel chairs

The 44 rooms of Hotel Császár, among which there are two- and four-bed rooms with a shower, as well as its communicating family rooms, can be fitted with extra beds.
Each room of Hotel Császár is equipped with a mini bar, satellite TV and a telephone. Guest's clothes and luggage can be comfortably packed into the spacious wardrobes that have mirrors.
In the spacious, climatised apartment, there is a separate living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a dining room, which even makes it possible for guests to hold small meetings as well.
